Police arrest shooter after 10-hour standoff

KRALJEVO A man who on Sunday shot and wounded two people near the central Serbian town of Kraljevo has been placed under arrest. Late yesterday, he surrendered to the Serbian police's SAJ unit officers, after a ten-hour standoff. Neither of the victims has suffered serious injuries. D.M. has been charged with attempted murder and illegal possession and carrying of arms and explosives.
