The Court of Appeals in Belgrade will start considering appeals against the verdict handed to football fans for taking part in the murder of a French citizen. Bruce Taton died of the injuries sustained in the fall of 2009. After considering the appeals against the verdict reached by the Higher Court in Belgrade, the Court of Appeal can confirm, overturn or completely cancel the verdict and order a retrial. On January 25, the Higher Court in Belgrade sentenced 14 Partizan fans to a total of 240 years in prison for aggravated murder of supporter of French club Toulouse, Taton, committed in Belgrade, 2009, ahead of Partizan - Toulouse match. Taton died in the Belgrade Clinical Center 12 days after he was attacked.
