The Court of Appeals in Belgrade will start considering appeals against the verdict handed to football fans for taking part in the murder of a French citizen. Bruce Taton died of the injuries sustained in the fall of 2009. On January 25, the Higher Court in Belgrade sentenced 14 Partizan fans to a total of 240 years in prison for aggravated murder of supporter of French club Toulouse, Taton, committed in Belgrade, 2009, ahead of Partizan - Toulouse match. Taton died in the Belgrade Clinical Center 12 days after he was attacked.
