Police believe that the setting on fire of a kiosk in Sombor, north of Belgrade, was done by a local teenage hooligan, identified as S.Dj. The kiosk, belonging to a Gorani man who used it to sell popcorn and pumpkin seeds, was set on fire so the teenager could establish himself as the leader of a local supporters group. Teen hooligan set kiosk on fire This was revealed today by Interior Minister Ivica Dacic. Dacic condemned the attack and noted that such violent acts disturbed inter-ethnic relations. The kiosk, owned by Samet Garipi, who has lived in Sombor for 47 years, was also set on fire in 1999, during the war over Kosovo. At the time of the latest incident, Garipi said he would rebuild his small business and that he had been offered assistance from the mayor's office.
