Police Director Milorad Veljovic says that police saw a Partizan fan who was threatening B92 reporter Brankica Stankovic at a stadium. However, he added that they “had no grounds to arrest him”. Hooligan wanted by police spotted at football match Police initiated a search for Milos Radisavljevic aka Kimi last December after an incident at a football match when Partizan fans chanted offensice and threatening slogans directed at the Insajder (Insider) program author. The hooligans threatened that Stankovic would “end up like Curuvija”, in reference to journalist and publisher Slavko Curuvija, who was shot dead in Belgrade in 1999. They were also kicking and stabbing a plastic doll representing the reporter. Now MUP have sent their response to a B92 query regarding the appearance of Radisavljevic, stating that the search for him was still active. MUP also said that the Municipal Court had halted its investigation into five others, who were probed for endangering the safety of the B92 TV journalist, and said there was now a “legal vacuum” in the case. Police are waiting for the prosecution’s move and its decision about further actions, MUP wrote. It is unclear, however, what legal vacuum MUP have in mind, since Radisavljevic was not among the five hooligans against whom the investigation was dropped, nor was he among the six who were indicted, while he is suspected in relation to the same incident. Veljovic told B92 that police knew that the suspect was at the stands, and that they asked for instructions from the prosecutor and a judge.
