Dačić: 35 to 40 criminal groups in Serbia

Interior Minister Ivica Dacic says that there are 35 to 40 organized crime groups currently active in the country. "In addition, there are some 300 to 400 security-wise interesting persons that are also being monitored, just as 14 other groups or individuals that are engaged in so-called general crime," he explained. MUP has increased its efficiency in solving most serious crimes, such as murder, with the percentage now between 70 and 75, said the minister.
