Rasim Ljajic says that Chief Hague Prosecutor Serge Brammertz's report to the UN will come in December. "After his visit to Serbia, Brammertz will not submit a special report to the EU, but that does not mean that Brussels officials will wait until December, since the prosecutor will provide their query with his opinion after the visit," the president of the National Hague Cooperation Council said late on Sunday. Brammertz report to UN SC in December Brammertz is due in Belgrade on September 10. The EU is awaiting the Mladic arrest or a positive cooperation report in order to allow for the implementation of the Interim Trade Agreement, which is a part of the SAA, signed in April and suspended. Ljajic told state broadcaster RTS that it is hard to predict when any of the remaining two Hague indictees might be arrested, and added that the pair "will not hide for the rest of their lives". Former military leader of the Bosnian Serbs Gen. Ratko Mladic, and former political leader of the Croatian Serbs Goran Hadzic, both indicted by the Hague Tribunal on war crimes charges, are still at large. "Operative activities continue, Action Team is carrying on its activities on a regular basis in search for the Hague indictees. The situation is analyzed and plans, actions and other activities are put forward," Ljajic said. He repeated that Serbia has great interest in arresting all the Hague fugitives regardless of pressures from abroad, and that Belgrade is working to make that happen as soon as possible.
