Vinko Kondic, suspected of crimes against humanity against Bosniaks and Croats in Kljuc, has been arrested. Kondic will be handed over to the competent authorities at the Bosnia-Hercegovina War Crimes Prosecution, who will question him and decide whether to submit a request to the Bosnian courts to have him remanded in custody, it was announced in Sarajevo. Serb war crimes suspect arrested in Bosnia He was arrested yesterday by members of the State Agency for Investigation and Protection (SIPA) on the orders of the Bosnian War Crimes Prosecution. A separate department within the Prosecution has charged Mladen Milanovic with war crimes against civilians. According to the Prosecution, Milanovic is accused of holding Bosniak civilians captive in a camp while a member of the Republic of Srpska Army in the Sarajevo region and the Vogosac municipality, during the armed conflict in Bosnia-Hercegovina. He is accused of abusing prisoners in the “Bunker” camp in Semizovac near Sarajevo, and that as a guard, he allowed other people to enter the camp and abuse the detainees. The indictment has been passed on to the Bosnian Court for confirmation, says the Bosnian Prosecution. Meanwhile, the Prosecution has also launched proceedings against Deputy Director of the Bosnian Frontier Police Vahid Alagic and others on suspicion that they were responsible for war crimes committed in the Konjic district, according to daily Vecernji List who refer to sources close to the investigation. The paper unofficially claims that Frontier Police Director Vinko Dumancic has suspended his deputy, who has been accused of crimes against Serbs in the Konjic district. Alagic is suspected of being a commander of an armed formation that committed crimes in the region during the Bosnian war. On August 22, the Trebinje Center for Public Security submitted reports implicating certain Bosniaks to the Bosnian prosecution, on suspicion that they had committed war crimes against the Serb civilian population during the war in the villages of Bradina and Glavaticevo in the Konjic municipality.
