Some 1,000 people gathered in Kraljevo in a memorial service dedicated to the civilians executed there in October 1941. The assembly of the town, located in central Serbia, held a commemorative session this morning, after which municipal delegations, Slovenian ambassador to Serbia, Miroslav Luci, and Catholic church representatives from Maribor, Slovenia, proceeded to the cemetery to place wreaths at the victims' graves. The Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) dignitaries served a liturgy for the souls of the dead during the ceremony today.
