Serbian currency steadies against euro
The Serbian dinar(RSD) has slightly strengthened against the euro (EUR) on Monday, the central bank announced.

The Serbian dinar(RSD) has slightly strengthened against the euro (EUR) on Monday, the central bank announced. The domestic currency is stronger by one para, thus remaining at the same level in percentage terms as on Friday when the official middle exchange rate was RSD 101.2878, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) released. Serbian currency steadies against euro According to the Friday exchange rate, which was valid during the weekend and until 8 a.m. on Monday, EUR 1 equaled RSD 101.2978. On a monthly basis the Serbian currency has weakened against the euro by 3.0 percent, and on an annual level by 2.5 percent. Since the beginning of 2011, the dinar hit its highest value against the common European currency on May 23, when the official middle exchange rate was RSD 96.7007, and its lowest on January 6 with the exchange rate at RSD 106.4947. The indicative dinar-versus-dollar exchange rate on Friday afternoon was RSD 71.1991, and in comparison to the previous day the dinar dropped against the dollar by 43 paras or 0.8 percent. In comparison to the period one month ago, the dinar has weakened against the U.S. dollar by 4.8 percent, while taking into account its value a year ago, the dinar has risen against the dollar by 14.9 percent.

According to the Friday exchange rate, which was valid during the weekend and until 8 a.m. on Monday, EUR 1 equaled RSD 101.2978.On a monthly basis the Serbian currency has weakened against the euro by 3.0 percent, and on an annual level by 2.5 percent.
Since the beginning of 2011, the dinar hit its highest value against the common European currency on May 23, when the official middle exchange rate was RSD 96.7007, and its lowest on January 6 with the exchange rate at RSD 106.4947.
The indicative dinar-versus-dollar exchange rate on Friday afternoon was RSD 71.1991, and in comparison to the previous day the dinar dropped against the dollar by 43 paras or 0.8 percent.
