Infrastructure Minister Milutin Mrkonjic today danced at a bridge under construction, and explained that criticism of Corridor 10 was "no longer justified". The bridge in question is being built across the Danube at Beska, north of Belgrade. Minister's song and dance at bridge Workers today completed a milestone in the project's construction, connecting the main span. Mrkonjic's dancing partner was Nevenka Sindjic, who heads the Alpina consortium in Serbia. The company was awarded the contract to build the bridge. The minister told reporters that the construction of the Corridor 10 highway will be completed "in 2012 or 2013". Mrkonjic also sought to explain that criticism aimed at the organization of the Corridor 10 construction was "no longer justified", adding that this was the case because "the job is now being conducted by domestic companies".
