The retail prices of goods and services in Serbia in September 2010 increased on average by 1.0 percent if compared to the previous month. This is according to the data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia. Retail prices up 1 pct. in August The retail prices in September 2010, compared to September 2009, increased by 8.7 percent. The consumer price index in Serbia in September 2010 increased by 1.1 percent on average, if compared to the previous month. Compared to September 2009, the consumer price index in September 2010 increased by 7.2 percent on average. The difference between the retail price index and the consumer price index resulted from the various influences that the growth of prices of particular items had on these indices, the statement reads.
