An agreement was signed on Saturday for the government’s financing of industrial zones in the northern city of Subotica. The agreement was signed by Infrastructure Minister Milutin Mrkonjic and Subotica Mayor Sasa Vucinic. It is worth RSD 100mn. Govt. to co-finance Subotica industrial zones The money would be granted in 2010 and 2011 and would help build the necessary infrastructure in the industrial zone, according to a government statement. Mrkonjic stated that Subotica is the city with possibly the brightest future in the country, adding that the government is doing everything to facilitate its development.
