Demand for Croatian-made products in Serbia has dropped significantly in the first five months of this year, statistics show. Serbia's trade deficit with this neighboring country has consequently decreased by 46.2 percent against the same period last year, the Market Research Institute (IZIT) revealed. Lower trade deficit with Croatia The drop in the import of Croatia-produced consumer goods, as well as in demand in the Serbian market, has been attributed to a boycott which came as a result of Croatia's recognition of Kosovo's unilateral independence, IZIT said.
