They thundered: You are doomed to failure
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that any attempt to blockade Iran at sea “will be doomed to failure,” emphasizing that the Strait of Hormuz has key strategic and national importance for Iran.
Speaking about regional security, the Iranian president praised Iran’s naval forces, stating that their role demonstrates Tehran’s determination to protect key transport and energy routes.
Pezeshkian accused external actors of using economic and maritime pressure against Iran, describing such strategies as contrary to international law, and warned that the United States and Israel would bear responsibility for any potential destabilization in the Persian Gulf.
