The world on the brink of a new massive conflict: Long-range missiles are deployed; Will they target the US?

As the Tehran Times, a daily newspaper close to the Iranian authorities, reported today, those missile systems are capable of hitting positions linked to the US and are ready for action.

It is also said that a significant number of these ready-to-launch missiles are located in underground military facilities around the country designed to withstand air strikes.

Since his inauguration, Donald Trump has repeatedly threatened to bomb Iran if the country does not make the concessions he demands, including the complete abolition of Iran's nuclear program, parts of its missile and drone programs, and ties to militant groups.

The Iranian leadership refused to negotiate with the US under the current circumstances, expressing its readiness to resolutely respond to any American aggression.

Iran's supreme religious leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, also spoke out, saying today that the United States of America will receive a strong retaliatory blow if it carries out President Donald Trump's threats to bomb Iran if it does not reach a new nuclear agreement with Washington.

On Sunday, Trump said there would be bombing and additional tariffs if Tehran did not reach a deal with Washington on its nuclear program.

"If they don't make a deal, there will be bombing. But there's a chance that if they don't make a deal, I'll put additional tariffs on them like I did four years ago," Trump told NBC News.
