Vučić and Babiš after a meeting: "We are connected by a wonderful history"; "A relationship based on trust"
Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš is on a two-day official visit to Serbia. Following a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and talks between the two delegations, the two officials addressed the media.
Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš was officially welcomed by Serbian Prime Minister Djuro Macut in front of the Palace of Serbia, with the highest honors — a red carpet, an honor guard, and the playing of the national anthems.
A plenary meeting of the Serbian and Czech delegations was also held, led by Serbian Prime Minister Prof. Dr. Djuro Macut and the Czech prime minister.
Following the meeting with Macut, Babiš held talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
After the statements, a roundtable titled "Serbia–Czech Republic: Business Dialogue and New Opportunities for Economic Cooperation" will also be held, with the participation of President Vučić and the Czech prime minister.
In addition to Vučić and Babiš, business representatives will be addressed with opening remarks by President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko Čadež and President of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic Jan Rafaj.
