EPS has lately been shaken by sackings over its electricity trade business, due to which the company has lost about 300 big consumers.

RTS said on Monday that 15 managers of the former EPS Snabdevanje, which merged with Elektroprivreda in June, have either been dismissed or reassigned to new jobs.

Commenting on these reports, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that he will have "precise information" on Tuesday.

Vucic told reporters he has requested information about this public enterprise, and will address the topic "once he receives the data on 100 pages."

"I'm not running away from talking about EPS. That public company has never had higher liquidity," he said, adding that "a serious ax" is being readied and would affect the jobs of "many people who got rich at the expense of the state."
