"I expect that (a meeting) will be held in the next few days in Belgrade," Stefanović told Pink TV in Belgrade on Friday morning, adding that "the wish to ensure absolute safety for residents and members of the security forces will be stressed during it."
He also said that "the current situation is stable."
Stefanović reiterated that he sent additional police forces to the area, as well as "strengthened Gendarmerie detachments," and that "cooperation with EULEX and KFOR is being realized in terms of securing the entire region."
"We have to do everything in our power to continue to have more measures, and perhaps a stronger police presence, so that it never happens again that a police officer is killed doing their job," said Stefanović.
He added that yesterday's incident was a "direct terrorist attack," and that work was being done, "through cooperation with EULEX and KFOR" to find the perpetrators.
Stefanović also said that he will initiate a meeting with the prosecutor's office and courts to discuss stricter sentencing for assaults on police officers.
He pointed out that members of the Gendarmerie are doing one of the toughest jobs in the country and that this terrorist attack shows what security risks they are exposed to every day.
These Serb politicians are fun to listen, they throw around word "terrorism" any way they like and make up its definition by themselves .LOL

Stefanovic needs to look up the word "terrorism" in a dictionary. I'm surprised a right wing politician like Stefanovic didn't call this an "act of genocide".
Terrorism: "The unofficial or unauthorised use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims."
I wonder what political aims these so called "terrorists" were trying to pursue with the murder/ man-slaughter of this poor Policeman?
Lets call a spade a spade. These were armed thieves stealing wood who got caught by the police and subsequently fired upon them, which resulted in the death of a Policeman. These low-lifes had no political aims, the Policeman's death wasn't premeditated. They weren't inciting violence and intimidation to achieve political goals. These criminals are many things, but 'terrorists' isn't one of them.
RIP Steva Sindelic
I hope they lock up these criminals and throw away they key so they can rot behind bars for the rest of their days.

ROSU member Enver Zimberi's murder was avenged! And Serbian trolls thought that murdering a Kosovar policeman would go unpunished....

I'm pretty certain the semi-literate timber thief didn't have ROSU in mind when he panicked and pulled the trigger, but good for you for trying to justify another act of Albanian terrorism.

Terrorist? A bit exaggerated. They were probably only members of one of the numerous Albanian criminal gangs. The problem with Kosovo is that those people enjoy protection by KPS, and all kind of criminals found a safe shelter in the independent dream state of Kosovo a.k.a. 'Gangster's paradise'.
