Nikolić: Serbia profoundly grateful to Slovenia

After visiting the town most affected by the recent floods, Nikolić thanked the people of Slovenia, stressing that the citizens and the government of Serbia feel profound gratitude for the help they provided.

The Slovenian president's visit to Serbia was arranged earlier and it additionally demonstrates the strong ties between the two countries, said Nikolić and stressed that "everything must be done in order to strengthen these ties even further."

Pahor, who earlier met with a civil protection unit from his country deployed in Obrenovac, said that the tragedy he witnessed was greater than what could be captured in photos and video footage.

He expressed hope that Slovenian teams helped alleviate the suffering of victims of the floods and announced that Slovenia will continue to provide assistance.
