Vucic "congratulated the Belgrade Fair and the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications on excellent results and said that Serbia is becoming more and more attractive to guests from the West," the government said in a statement.

He noted that the growth of tourism in Serbia over the past three years stood at ten percent, while the average growth in the world is four percent" and in Europe two percent.

"Montenegro has the beautiful sea and mountain ranges, Lake Skadar - everything a beautiful country can offer. Serbia has never excelled in tourism, that is not the most important industry sector, but in 2016 we earned 200 million euros more from tourism than Montenegro," Vucic said, according to Tanjug.

Tourists are looking for new destinations and that is our chance," Vucic said and added that cooperation in the Balkans must be better because only through cooperation all countries can achieve results that will bring a better life to their citizens.

The countries of the Western Balkans have great tourist potential on the market of the third countries. For that reason it is necessary to improve cooperation because no country can succeed on its own," he said.

The 39th international tourism fair lasts until 26 February and will gather 1,100 exhibitors from 56 countries, including China, Russia and India.
