Two Tunisians, a Slovenian and a citizen of Bosnia-Herzegovina who were stabbed during the New Year’s Eve celebration in Belgrade are successfully recovering.

BELGRADE Two Tunisians, a Slovenian and a citizen of Bosnia-Herzegovina who were stabbed during the New Year’s Eve celebration in Belgrade are successfully recovering. The two Tunisians were transferred to the First Surgical Clinic after treatment in the Emergency Center. Stabbed foreign nationals recover in hospital Kreso Sekulic of Banja Luka and Damjan Cmager of Maribor, who suffered stab wounds to their thighs, are at the Vascular Surgery Clinic’s semi-intensive care unit. The Tunisian nationals, aged 22 and 25, who came to Belgrade with a group of 120 Tunisian tourists, suffered multiple stab wounds to the stomach and back. One of them suffered minor injuries while the other will remain in hospital for at least 20 days. Representatives of the Tunisian Embassy have visited them in hospital and notified their families. The police are still looking for the unidentified attacker who stabbed seven persons with a knife during the New Year’s Eve festivities in downtown Belgrade. The remaining three victims are Serbians. Krešo Sekulić of Banja Luka and Damjan Cmager of Maribor, who suffered stab wounds to their thighs, are at the Vascular Surgery Clinic’s semi-intensive care unit.

The Tunisian nationals, aged 22 and 25, who came to Belgrade with a group of 120 Tunisian tourists, suffered multiple stab wounds to the stomach and back. One of them suffered minor injuries while the other will remain in hospital for at least 20 days.

Representatives of the Tunisian Embassy have visited them in hospital and notified their families.
