Kosovo police, KPS, Director Sermet Ahmeti has called on all Serb policemen who were suspended to return to their duties. Ahmeti said that he had sent a letter to every Serb who left "after the independence proclamation", demanding that they return to police and announcing that their "privileges" would end unless they did so. Serbs asked to return to Kosovo police "I wish to remind you that we are determined and under obligation to respect the deadlines from the ministry of the interior's decision, which means that after these deadlines have expired we will be forced to terminate your employment," the letter says.
