Dačić unsure what role he'll have in new cabinet

”The talks will continue in the next few days and the agreement will be reached this week,” Dačić told reporters after visiting a wounded police officer in a Novi Sad hospital.

He specified that "the final version of distribution of positions in the government and parliament will be made public by the end of the week, as well as the outline of positions in the Belgrade City Assembly and the City Council."

Dačić said that the final distribution of positions would come as the result of further talks.

”As soon as the future prime minister is ready to make the information public, he will do so,” Dačić said.

When it comes to the coalition partners of SPS, United Serbia (JS) and the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS), Dačić underscored that the coalition adopted a unanimous decision to join the government and it cannot be called into question.

”I expect all party bodies to back such a decision,” Dačić underscored and added that the Serbian parliament will vote on Wednesday and the outlook of the parliamentary majority will then be clear.

”I am certain that the decision will be adopted unanimously and that all of our 44 MPs will be included in the parliamentary majority in keeping with the agreement achieved with SNS,” Dačić said.
