Kosovo PM Hashim Thaci says that the government opposes the provincial assembly presidency’s decision for every MP to have an official vehicle. He said that the decision was irresponsible, lacking principle and impractical, adding that it would put an added burden on the 2009 budget. Thaci, assembly clash over MP perks “The assembly presidency’s decision is not financially viable,” Thaci said. He told a press conference that the decision to purchase vehicles for MPs was unacceptable for the government, as was the decision that every MP should have a secretary.
