"Now that elections are coming, we hope the pro-European forces will win," he told journalists in Brussels ahead of an EU ministerial meeting there. As far as Rupel is concerned, "Serbia has no other possibility but the EU", agencies also reported. "There are encouraging signs that the pro-European forces will win the elections," the Slovenian foreign minister also said. The EU ministers will today discuss the political situation in Serbia, as well as EULEX, a mission Brussels has sent to Kosovo, although Belgrade sees it as illegal and not based on UN Resolution 1244.
