MUP: Novi Pazar shooter arrested

MUP has announced that its officers in Novi Pazar have arrested Adem H., 55, on suspicion that he fired the shots during <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2009&mm=01&dd=18&nav_id=56496" class="text-link" target= "_blank">an incident on Jan. 17.</a>

MUP has announced that its officers in Novi Pazar have arrested Adem H., 55, on suspicion that he fired the shots during an incident on Jan. 17. Police in Novi Pazar "continue to undertake further activities", the statement also said. The Jan. 17 incident saw members of Sulejman Uglaljanin's SDA party clash with the center's security in a dispute over the party premises located there.

MUP: Novi Pazar shooter arrested

During the clashes at the town's culture center last weekend, Adem H. fired from a pistol he possesses illegally, injuring the victim and endangering the lives of several other persons, the MUP elaborated in its statement this Saturday.

Police in Novi Pazar "continue to undertake further activities", the statement also said.

The Jan. 17 incident saw members of Sulejman Uglaljanin's SDA party clash with the center's security in a dispute over the party premises located there.
