"We hope that Chapter 32, relating to financial control, will be opened at the same time, while Chapters 23 and 24 are the most important, as they refer to the rule of law," Miscevic told Tanjug.

"We will present informally the action plans which are the precondition for the opening of Chapters 23 and 24 to EU members, which will mark the beginning of the chapter opening procedure," Miscevic said on the sidelines of the Belgrade Security Forum.

She also said that the Serbian side has given good arguments why it considers important that Chapter 32 should be one of the first to be opened.

"Chapter 32 is important because of financial consolidation and economic governance, as well as the fight against corruption, although the emphasis is on Chapter 35 which actually represents monitoring of implementation of the (Brussels) agreement, 28 different deals and future agreements in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue," she noted.

"At this moment, we are waiting to get the screening reports in order to be able to continue with preparations for negotiations," Miscevic stressed.
