Turkish PM's adviser criticizes German media

In an article published in the Turkish pro-government newspaper Star, he wrote that "a part of the German media" were reporting about the Turkish government in a hostile manner, and that "the organic connection" between some German media with Turkey must be investigated.

Bulut did not mention any names, but his statement was taken as an allusion to the cooperation between Germany's Axel Springer and the Turkish media group Dogan, which takes "a relatively critical line towards the government in Ankara."

During his recent visit to Cologne, Erdogan himself criticized the reporting of some German media about the Soma mining tragedy.
