An aircraft from Moscow carrying the bodies of six Serbian construction workers who died on the Yamal peninsula in Russia landed in Belgrade late on Wednesday.

"The bodies are finally back in Serbia and will be turned over to their families and buried in the next two days. Everything seemingly took a long time, but one should keep in mind that the identification could not be done in the regular way, but through DNA analysis," Secretary General of the Foreign Minsitry Veljko Odalovic told reporters after the plane landed.The procedure was completed in coordination with the Russian Federation Prosecutor's Office, he noted.
"We will get the answers concerning the investigation and causes of the fire from the Russian authorities and we expect that to happen as quickly as possible," he stated.
