Serbians will be able to vote with photo ID

As has been the case in previous elections, voters will have insoluble UV ink applied to one of their forefingers, to ensure that one person does not cast more than one ballot.

All those who find themselves at the polling stations when they close will be allowed to vote.

The ballot papers are printed in the A4 format and light blue color, while the control ballot is light purple.

They contain the names of 19 elections lists submitted by parties, coalitions, and groups of citizens.

The so-called "election silence" will be in effect from midnight on March 13 until the polling stations close at 20:00 on March 16. During this time, parties will not be allowed to campaign, while the media will not be able to carry opinion polls and other predictions of the outcome of elections.

8,262 polling stations will open in central Serbia and in Vojvodina at 07:00 CET on Sunday, and 90 more in Kosovo and Metohija. An additional 35 polling stations will be available to Serbian voters abroad.

250 MPs will be elected on March 16 in one country-wide constituency, under a closed list proportional system.
