The Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) and the Sloboda Association Tuesday marked the second anniversary of Slobodan Milosevic's death. Their delegations placed wreaths at his grave in the yard of his family home in Pozarevac, eastern Serbia. Milosevic death anniversary "The time which has passed has provided huge satisfaction to the national policy of Slobodan Milosevic and SPS, especially with regards Kosovo and Metohija and the Republic of Serbia," SPS leader Ivica Dacic was quoted as saying. A book entitled, "Murder in The Hague", by Velko Valkanov, was also promoted in Pozarevac today. Valkanov is a university professor, the president of the Bulgarian Council for Peace and the co-chairman of the International Committee for the Defense of Slobodan Milosevic. Milosevic died of a heart attack on March 11, 2006, in a Hague Tribunal detention unit. He seized power in Serbia in 1987, and was ousted in the fall of 2000. The next year, he was transferred to The Hague. Milosevic was undergoing trial at the UN court accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Kosovo and Croatia, and for genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
