The Serb Radical Party (SRS) will petition to secure Vojislav Seselj’s trial is broadcast live on the state television. The SRS Secretary General Aleksandar Vucic told Beta news agency Sunday that the Radicals expect "over a million adult Serbian citizens to sign the petition". Radicals want Seselj trial broadcast live “The signing will be organized in all major cities in Serbia, in towns, villages. We will even go door to door to shore up support for our petition,” he said. Vucic claims that the state television (RTS) had an obligation to broadcast the trial of the leader of Serbia’s largest political party that enjoys the support of more than 30 percent of the electorate. “The trial of Vojislav Seselj will be historic. He will present significant evidence to Serbia’s defense and name those responsible for the conflict in the former Yugoslavia.” According to him, representatives of the Hague Tribunal "continued with the obstruction of the case", as there are more than 207,000 pages of the material that have not been translated into Serbian.
