Steel factory Zeljezara in Niksic, northern Montengro, will tomorrow suspend all its activities. Some 1,500 workers will at the same time be sent home until further notice, the media in Podgorica are reporting today. Montenegro: Steel plant sends workers home One unit of the factory will continue with production, but only until the work already started has been finished. The decision came due to a lack of raw materials, while the workers will return to the factory depending on the volume of work, the reports said. The media also remind that sending workers on the so-called forcible vacations is not something based on Montenegrin labor laws.
