A mass grave containing the bodies of 14 murdered Croats and Bosniaks has been discovered in Gornja Crkvina, near Bosanski Samac, writes daily Vecernji List. Marko Jurisic, a member of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Missing Persons Institute, said that searches in the area had been ongoing for three years and that “after receiving detailed information, we managed to find the site,” adding that the excavations would continue in the days to come. The victims found at the site were murdered, according to some testimonies, by one Slobodan Miljkovic, in revenge for the death of a friend, writes the paper. Party of Democratic Action (SDA) deputy leader Sulejman Tihic, priest Jozo Puskaric and SIPA deputy leader Dragan Lukac were held captive in camps near Samac in 1992, before being freed in an exchange of prisoners.
