NATO: No invitation for Macedonia

NATO has invited Albanian and Croatia to join its ranks, but has left Macedonia out of its plans to enlarge. This emerged Wednesday evening from the NATO summit held in Bucharest. NATO leaders today also failed to agree on whether to admit Ukraine and Georgia to the Alliance's Action Plan. Germany is opposing this, once again, despite U.S. efforts to push the plan to expand the Western military alliance to Russia's borders.
