Serbian and Slovenian defense minsiters Bratislav Gasic and Andreja Katic discussed "possibilities for improved defense cooperation" as they met on Tuesday.

Serbia and Slovenia sign military-technical agreement

After signing an agreement on military-technical cooperation between their ministries, the ministers "expressed satisfaction with the established legal basis for improvement of military-economic cooperation, which should be based on merging the capacities of defense industries."

They agreed that defense cooperation "is on par with overall bilateral relations," the Serbian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Gasic noted that Serbia appreciates Slovenia's support in European integration and thanked Slovenia's KFOR troops "for their professionalism and contribution to security in Kosovo and Metohija."
