This will be "no office", Mrkic told the Belgrade-based Blic daily. FM: Liaison officer to be posted at EU building "The interim authorities in Pristina are free to refer to the liaison officer according to their wishes. They can call him 'ambassador', or, 'representative from outer space'. The truth is that one man will be working at the EU premises in Belgrade, as the contact person for technical agreements," the minister was quoted as saying. Mrkic also stated that the person in question "cannot have any title other than 'liaison officer'." Previously, the foreign minister in the government in Pristina, Enver Hodzaj, said that agreement had been reached for what he referred to as "the office" that will be opened in Belgrade to be called the office of the "republic of Kosovo".
