NIS demands return of Croatian assets

The proposal was submitted by the NIS Shareholder’s Association, after the Managing Board suggested the move, the sources said, emphasizing NIS sought the return of its Croatian assets based on complete ownership documentation.

According to the company’s estimates, its Croatian property includes over 30 gas stations, holiday facilities in Rovinj, Makarska, Hvar and Brač, storage and business premises.

NIS also plans to bring up the issue of its investment in the Adriatic pipeline. The market value of the property in question is yet to be assessed, while NIS declined to reveal its bookkeeping value, dubbing it as unrealistic.
