Man arrested for making threats against agency editor

Members of the Ministry of Interior (MUP) in Belgrade have identified and apprehended a 49-year-old man.

Man arrested for making threats against agency editor

After the arrest, the suspect said he and Janjic knew each other for a long time and were friends, and denied that he made threats against him, but said he instead warned him about what could happen.

The police informed the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office about the case, which that decided to report to a competent prosecutor in order to decide on further action.

Also, it is suspected that the same man on March 18 called N1 Director Jugoslav Cosic, introducing himself as official of the US government, and "asking for evidence that the attack in New Zealand was connected to Serbia, otherwise he (Cosic) would be denied entry to the US."

The police brought him in and interviewed him on that occasion, informing and reporting about the case to the Third Basic Public Prosecutor's Office.
