Komercijalna Banka (bank) Shareholders Assembly adopted on Wednesday a decision on issuing the 25th emission of preference shares. The shares can be turned into ordinary bank's shares with a public offer, without having to procure prospectus to increase its base capital. Komercijalna bank continues recapitalization The new shares emission is a continuation of bank's leveraged recapitalization, within which European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (ERBD) and International Finance Corporation, German DEG and international Swedfund invested EUR 120mn in the largest Serbian bank. The state kept the right meet this recapitalization by the end of 2012 and to keep the majority ownership in Komercijalna banka, it was stated in the announcement. The state owns 42.6 percent of Komercijalna banka's capital and the second largest shareholder is ERBD with 25 percent. B92

Komercijalna bank continues recapitalization

The new shares emission is a continuation of bank's leveraged recapitalization, within which European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (ERBD) and International Finance Corporation, German DEG and international Swedfund invested EUR 120mn in the largest Serbian bank.

The state kept the right meet this recapitalization by the end of 2012 and to keep the majority ownership in Komercijalna banka, it was stated in the announcement.
