The chamber is a non-political, non-governmental organization, and our primary aim is to help British companies find new opportunities in Serbia, but also Serbian companies to showcase their goods to British buyers,” said Vladimir Djukanovic, a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors. “I think that this decision is a step in the right direction, especially in the midst of the financial crisis. The Serbian government commends the formation of the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce as a way to improve market relations between the two countries. Since 2000, British investment in Serbia has reached more than USD 300mn and that’s the greatest reason for founding this chamber,” said State Secretary in the Economy Ministry Nebojsa Ciric.
