Pink Panther arrested in Montenegro
The Montenegrin Police Administration has confirmed that Vladimir Lekić, a member of the notorious Pink Panther crime group, was arrested in Cetinje.

The Montenegrin Police Administration has confirmed that Vladimir Lekic, a member of the notorious Pink Panther crime group, was arrested in Cetinje. Lekic suspected to be a member of the international crime group, which has been working in Western Europe for some time now mostly robbing large jewelry stores. Pink Panther arrested in Montenegro Lekic is suspected of robbing a jewelry store in Frankfurt with fellow Cetinje resident Z.K. and P.V. from Bijela, a robbery in which a large number of very expensive Rolex watches was taken, with an estimated value of about EUR 1mn. Z.K. and P.V. are currently in a Frankfurt prison. According to police, Lekic was arrested based on international legal aid, i.e., when the German prosecution transferred the case from to the Montenegrin judiciary.

Lekić is suspected of robbing a jewelry store in Frankfurt with fellow Cetinje resident Z.K. and P.V. from Bijela, a robbery in which a large number of very expensive Rolex watches was taken, with an estimated value of about EUR 1mn.Z.K. and P.V. are currently in a Frankfurt prison.
According to police, Lekić was arrested based on international legal aid, i.e., when the German prosecution transferred the case from to the Montenegrin judiciary.
