"Last chance"; Trump's final ultimatum to Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a series of conditions that Iran, according to him, must accept as part of an agreement with the United States.
“Nuclear dust”
Donald Trump spoke specifically about Iran’s enriched material, referring to it as “nuclear dust.” He claimed that it is located deep underground beneath nearly collapsed mountains following a U.S. strike by B-2 bombers 11 months ago. According to Trump, the material will be excavated by the United States in close coordination with Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
“The enriched material, sometimes referred to as ‘nuclear dust,’ will be excavated by the United States, which, according to the agreement, is the only country alongside China with the mechanical capability to do so, in close coordination and cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, plus the International Atomic Energy Agency, and destroyed,” he wrote.
Trump added that no money would be exchanged for now and that other matters described as “far less important” had also been agreed upon. At the end of the post, he said he was heading to the White House Situation Room to make a final decision.
“I will now meet in the Situation Room in order to make a final decision. Thank you for your attention regarding this matter! President Donald J. Trump,” he posted.
