Trump draws the line — "Enough is enough"

“Enough is enough! Thank you,” Trump wrote in a post on his social media platform Truth Social.

He added that the agreement reached “in no way depends on Lebanon, but the U.S. will separately work with Lebanon and address the situation with Hezbollah in an appropriate manner.”

Earlier today, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that the ten-day ceasefire with Hezbollah, which came into effect at midnight, is “temporary,” and that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will not withdraw from territories in Lebanon, adding that remaining missions in the country will be completed, if necessary by force.

He added that ground maneuvers in Lebanon and strikes against Hezbollah across the country have achieved many results, but have not yet been fully completed.

“We will continue to clear terrorist infrastructure, including the destruction of houses in Lebanese border villages that have become terrorist strongholds,” Katz said.

He also noted that enemy fighters and weapons are still present in the new security zone in southern Lebanon, which extends to the Litani River, adding that it will be cleared either through a diplomatic agreement or by a resumption of fighting, The Times of Israel reported.
