Hezbollah claims it carried out new attacks on a naval base in Haifa

The Lebanese group Hezbollah announced today that it carried out several attacks on Israeli military sites and northern cities, according to statements issued by the group.

In one statement, Hezbollah said it fired rockets at the Misgav base in northern Israel, which it described as a logistical facility.

The group stated that the attack was in response to what it called Israeli strikes on dozens of Lebanese towns, including the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Ballistic missiles fired at the UAE: "Brutal attack"

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) say they are acting in self-defense following what they described as a major Iranian attack involving ballistic missiles and drones.

In a statement on Sunday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that more than 1,400 missiles and drones were launched at infrastructure and civilian facilities, resulting in civilian casualties.

The ministry described the attack as "brutal and unjustified", stating that it constitutes a serious violation of international law and the UN Charter, as well as a breach of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the UAE.

It added that the UAE does not seek escalation or to be drawn into a wider conflict, but emphasized that it reserves the right to take “all necessary measures” to protect its sovereignty.
