It's known who will succeed Trump; this is his five-point plan for the 2028 presidential race
The Vice President of the United States, JD Vance, is most likely the first candidate who could succeed current President Donald Trump as the Republican Party’s candidate in the 2028 presidential election.
For this reason, JD Vance plans to remain loyal to the U.S. president even when it involves supporting issues that are unpopular with the Republican voter base.
The second part of the plan involves staying out of the “civil war” that has fully engulfed the MAGA group, Trump’s most loyal supporters.
The third part of his plan entails “winning over” wealthy donors, but with a dual task.
JD Vance will need to convince donors to invest money in his campaign, while also ensuring they do not fund the campaigns of his rivals, primarily Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley, Republicans who have proven successful in this area.
A particularly important part of the plan, Axios reports, is his activity next year. Next year, Americans will elect all members of the House of Representatives and one-third of the Senate, and JD Vance will be highly active in Republican campaigns.
The goal of this move is for JD Vance to gain exposure beyond appearing with Trump, while also building connections with local activists who could become key members of his team when he launches his presidential campaign.
The final point of his plan is to mobilize numerous influencers who currently support Trump but also sympathize with him.
According to Axios, JD Vance does not want to engage in public conflicts with other Republican candidates, so he expects influencers like Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, to fight those battles on his behalf.
In other words, he expects them to do the “dirty work” for him, while JD Vance focuses on promoting a narrative of “unity” within the Republican Party.
