The attack took place around 10:13 a.m. local time, when the attackers broke into a bus stuck in traffic and started shooting at the passengers, the Jerusalem Post reports.

The Israeli army killed two attackers, and it is assumed that it was a terrorist attack, writes the Times of Israel.

According to reports, the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals, and the director of the MDA hospital said that at least 11 people were injured, and three were in critical condition, while seven were slightly injured.

A large number of police and military personnel are present at the scene.
