"No offensive, annexation attempt or population relocation will stop the dynamics that we started together with the crown prince, and which many partners have already joined", he said after a meeting with Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, reports La Figaro.

Macron emphasized that he is moving in the direction of wider international support for Palestinian statehood, as well as that "many partners" are already participating in that initiative.

In addition, the French leader strongly criticized the decision of the United States of America not to issue visas to Palestinian officials for the upcoming United Nations General Assembly.

"That decision is unacceptable. We call for its withdrawal and to enable the representation of Palestine, in accordance with the rules of the UN headquarters," Macron pointed out.

At the end of July, Macron announced that France will recognize the Palestinian state in September 2025, at the upcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar criticized French President Macron after he reiterated his support for the recognition of a Palestinian state, calling his actions "dangerous".

"Macron is trying to interfere in a conflict in which he is not a party, in a way that is out of touch with the reality on the ground after October 7," Sa'ar said in a post on the X social network.

Sa'ar added that Macron's actions undermine stability and drag the international system towards unilateral steps.

"His actions are dangerous. They will not bring peace or security," Sa'ar emphasized.
