RHMZ issued an urgent warning; The dangers are compounded
The Republic Hydrometeorological Institute has issued a warning about the heat wave that has affected Serbia and will last until tomorrow with a maximum temperature of 35 to 42 degrees, and tomorrow locally up to 43 degrees.
The RHMZ warns that the heat wave in the coming days will further increase the risk of starting and spreading outdoor fires.
The risks will be most pronounced in the regions with the greatest deficit of moisture in the soil, that is, with the greatest lack of precipitation from the previous period, especially today and tomorrow when a moderate to strong southwest wind will blow in the hilly and mountainous regions.

In the regions where the combined effect of a pronounced heat wave and long-term drought is expected, SMS warnings were also sent to citizens - in Toplica, Jablanica, Pčinj, Pirot, Niš and Zaječar districts.
It will be very hot in the Belgrade area today and tomorrow with a maximum temperature of 36 to 39 degrees.
