British Defense Minister Ben Wallace said that he would not be surprised if Vladimir Putin declared a new world war and ordered a mass mobilization of Russians.

Wallace pointed out that the Russian leader could start a "mass mobilization" and use May 1 to declare war on the "world Nazis".Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24, saying it was a special operation to liberate Ukraine from the Nazis. Since then, Ukrainian cities have been hit by shelling in a fight that Prime Minister Liz Truss said could last up to 10 years.
And in the face of the West, which is giving Ukraine money and weapons, Russia is referring to its nuclear capabilities in issuing threats. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the danger of nuclear war was serious. Wallace previously assessed that Putin failed to achieve the main goals in Ukraine and warned that he could therefore order his army to strengthen its positions in Ukraine and thus become, as he said, a kind of "growing tumor" in the country.
"I would not be surprised... that he will probably declare on May 1st that we are now at war with the world's Nazis and that we must mobilize the Russian people en masse," Wallace said.
Wallace told Sky News that Great Britain supports the complete repression of Russia from Ukraine, and he did not rule out giving support to Ukraine in the return of Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014, reports the "Guardian".
